The members of the Board of Trustees of MJDS hold a threefold duty:
- to ensure that the mission of the institution is pursued and upheld
- to give guidance to administration
- to advance the institution in the community
Ultimately, they bear the fiduciary responsibility for the integrity of MJDS as an institution serving the Jewish community of Minneapolis. MJDS Board members represent all facets of relationship to the school -- parents, grandparents and interested community members. They meet monthly as a whole group and additionally on subcommittees regarding strategic planning, finance and endowments.
