Minneapolis Jewish Day School offers a strong and challenging K-8 program in a nurturing environment, with each child receiving individual attention. MJDS provides a pluralistic, egalitarian program that respects the diversity of Jewish life and practice.
There are two keys to the school’s success: Its talented and committed faculty and its wonderful reciprocal connection with the community.
MJDS teachers are committed to their own personal pursuit of life long learning. They enjoy developing curriculum, engaging in continuing education, working on a variety of grade level and leadership teams, partnering with parents, and delivering thoughtful lessons with creativity and flair.
Our outstanding faculty is led by Dr. Ray Levi, Head of School, who joined the school in the summer of 1999. He brings to MJDS over twenty years of experience in elementary and teacher education and has been active in several national initiatives in the fields of both Judaic and General Studies.
The school is generously supported by the Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
